Ek Villain Returns is a newly released Hindi Movie which has been released on 29th July, 2022 and currently it’s streaming in cinemas and here i am going you my honest reviews about this movie so Ek Villain Returns is written and directed by Mohit Suri and Producers are Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series . Ek Villain Returns is a terrifyingly misogynistic serial killer thriller that doesn’t squander the opportunity to negate any possible sanity disturbance to the film. He puts together a cast who are completely unprepared to take us into the underbelly of a burning mind teetering on the brink of insanity.
Ek Villain Returns just wanna convey the theme that “every story has a villain.” This time, the story expands on its base with two male characters oscillating between hero and villain, one in disguise and the other struggling to find his true colors. There’s probably something about this idea that everyone has both a hero and a villain element, and who wins depends on our circumstances. But the disjointed plot and boring performance don’t make for an effective film: by comparison, Sidharth Malhotra-Ritesh Deshmukh-Shraddha Kapoor’s not-so-average star, Ek Villain, feels like a better film.

Ek Villain Returns revolves around the story of a taxi driver who suffers from PTSD and psychosis due to his one-sided love. The disturbance prompted him to kill more than a dozen women. It is intended only for those who break up with men after a short relationship due to lack of material lifestyle
He kidnaps a promising singer abandoned by the spoiled brother of a rich dad’s son. He still loves her. Police launched an investigation to catch the serial killer. The rest of the story answers these questions: who is the hero? Who is the criminal?

Director Mohit Suri, draws audiences into a strange world where villains thrive and sparks a lot of curiosity right from the start. However, our interest was soon killed with a very predictable plot.
The first half establishes four important characters. The story of the four is intertwined with some interesting twists in the second half. However, Suri failed to maintain the momentum as the game of finding the serial killer became absurd and ridiculous. The director missed the opportunity to turn the film into a suspenseful psychological thriller.
Ek Villain Returns, Non-linear storytelling is a smart choice. This film does not have a good sequel continuity. “Teri Galliyan”, the soulful song from the first part, has been reissued as “Galliyan Returns”. However, it was unable to reproduce its original magic.

Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham, two of the top action heroes, and Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria, two beautiful girls, couldn’t save the film as Bollywood continued to disappoint.
